Sugar Free Sports Drinks

1 package of sugar free drink mix in flavor of your choice
1/8 tsp salt
3 potassium tablets
2 quarts filtered water
Heat about a quarter-cup of your water in the microwave until almost boiling. Add potassium tablets and salt to the hot water to dissolve. Next, pour the drink mix in a container and add the rest of your water. Then, add the hot water with the potassium and salt in it. Stir until well mixed and chill until ready to drink.
Of course, you may want to buy a ready-made sports drink rather than making your own. In that case there are a variety of brands in stores and online that you may want to try. One is XS Sports Drink which comes in various flavors including Clearly Orange. Another popular type of sports drink is Ultima Replenisher which is also sugar free and comes in a variety of refreshing flavors. If you cannot find these drinks in stores they can be purchased online. There are stores that sell all kinds of sugarless foods and beverages including sports drinks and energy drinks.
When exercising, hydration is very important. You should make sure you are properly hydrated before, during and after your workout.
